As we’ve adjusted to life with two daughters, it’s become so very important for us to take one-on-one time with our oldest. She spent nearly five years as an only child, and has definitely had to adjust to our attention being split. Because of that we’ve tried to be really deliberate about taking time to focus solely on her.
Sometimes, that means I take her grocery shopping, just the two of us. Other times it means she gets to stay up a little later than baby sis. One of her favorite things to do though is to have a picnic together in our backyard. I put together a snack tray for us to share, and then let her pick a special treat. We use the time to catch up, and I just love to listen to her talk about anything that interests her. Six year olds are pretty amazing, y’all, and these times together have been SO special!

During our last grocery trip, she picked Mayfield Dairy’s Sundae Delights and they were SO delicious. These little six ounce cups were the perfect size for a special treat. She squealed as she added her sprinkles. Honestly it was just adorable watching her grin with delight as we chatted and she ate her sundae. It really is the little things in life that are so special. Sometimes it just takes slowing down long enough to see the good right in front of us.
Mayfield Dairy has been a part of lots of our good moments. It’s our go-to for birthday parties–you can’t beat a scoop of Mayfield’s along with homemade cake. My personal favorite ice cream flavors are Extreme Moose Tracks and Caramel Pie. They are SO tasty!

In addition to loving Mayfield’s ice cream, I love knowing that their dairy products come from cows raised on family owned farms. Mayfield values the communities that they’re a part of. That really shows in the quality of their products and their commitment to family. If you’re in the Southeast part of the US, you can find Mayfield Dairy’s offerings at one of your local grocers, like Publix, Walmart, or Kroger.
